YR Spoilers Victor was angry when Summer threatened and harmed Claire – forbidding her to do so

In the heart of Genoa City, the drama reached new heights as Summer Newman found herself entangled in a web of threats and power plays.

Her tumultuous relationship with Kyle Abbott had ended in divorce, but the emotional fallout was far from over.

When Summer discovered that Claire, a new presence in Kyle’s life, was becoming increasingly important to him, she felt a surge of jealousy and anger.

Determined to protect what she believed was rightfully hers, Summer arranged a secret meeting with Claire. The encounter was tense, with Summer’s eyes blazing with determination. “Claire, you need to stay away from Kyle. If you don’t, I’ll make sure you regret it,” she threatened. Claire, taken aback but resolute, decided to confide in Victor Newman, Kyle’s grandfather and a powerful figure in Genoa City. Claire knew that Victor’s support could make all the difference.

When she told Victor about Summer’s threats, his response was immediate and protective. “Claire, you have nothing to worry about. I’ll handle this.” Victor, ever the strategist, knew he needed to nip this issue in the bud. He summoned Summer to his office for a serious conversation.

As Summer walked in, her posture was defiant, but she couldn’t hide the flicker of uncertainty in her eyes. “Summer, sit down,” Victor said, his tone calm but firm. “We need to talk.”

Summer’s expression hardened. “What is it, Grandfather?”

Victor’s eyes bore into hers, filled with a mix of disappointment and determination. “I know you’ve been threatening Claire. That stops now. You and Kyle are divorced. He’s free to find happiness with someone else.”

Summer’s face flushed with anger. “And you’re just going to let her take him away from me? What about my feelings?”

Victor leaned forward, his voice taking on a sharper edge. “Your feelings don’t justify threatening Claire. You need to move on, Summer. If you continue this behavior, I will have no choice but to intervene, and believe me, you don’t want that.”

Summer’s defiance flared. “Intervene how?”

Victor’s gaze was steely. “If you don’t stop, I will destroy Marquetti. It’s the one thing you’ve worked so hard for, and I will dismantle it piece by piece.”

Summer gasped, the threat hitting her like a physical blow. Marquetti was her pride and joy, the one achievement she held onto in the midst of her personal chaos. The idea of losing it was unbearable. “How can you do this to me?” she whispered, tears of frustration welling up in her eyes. “You’re my grandfather. You’re supposed to be on my side.”

Victor’s expression softened slightly, but his resolve remained unyielding. “I’m doing this for your own good, Summer. Kyle is crucial to my plans to take down Jack. I need him focused and happy, and that means supporting his choices, including Claire.”

Summer’s anger reignited. “So you’re just using Kyle? That’s what this is all about?”

Victor sighed. “It’s more complicated than that, but yes, I need Kyle’s cooperation, and I need you to let this go. In time, I will help you rebuild. I will support you, but now you need to trust me.”

Summer shook her head, her voice choked with emotion. “I want justice. I want what’s fair.”

Victor’s patience wore thin. “You need to leave, Summer, now. And understand this: if you harm Claire, there will be severe consequences.”

Summer stood up, her face a mask of fury and heartbreak. “You’re choosing them over me. I can’t believe this.”

Victor watched her leave, a deep sadness settling over him. He knew the path he had chosen was fraught with peril, but his determination to bring down Jack and secure his legacy was unshakable. He hoped that one day Summer would understand his reasons and forgive him.

As Summer stormed out of the office, her mind was a whirlwind of emotions. She felt betrayed by her own family, cast aside for the sake of Victor’s machinations. The sting of injustice burned deep, and she vowed to find a way to reclaim her dignity and her rightful place. Meanwhile, Victor turned his focus back to his grand plan. He knew that keeping Kyle content and loyal was essential to his strategy. The chess pieces were moving, and every decision, every sacrifice was calculated to bring about his ultimate victory. But in Genoa City, the true cost of power and ambition would reveal itself in the most unexpected ways, as the battle for love, loyalty, and legacy continued.
