The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, September 3, place Lily exactly where Victor wants her — thinking Victor is doing her a favor by helping Lily deal with Billy.
I’d Do Anything For You
Victor (Eric Braeden) was very fond of Lily’s (Christel Khalil) late father, Neil (Kristoff St. John). Lily knows this. Which is why she naturally assumes Victor has her best interests at heart. Oh, Lily…Have you not lived in Genoa City long enough to realize that Victor only ever has Victor’s best interests at heart?
So that when he generously offers to help Lily get rid of Billy (Jason Thompson) professionally, it’s not because he cares about Neil’s daughter, or the best friend of the woman whose heart now beats in Victor’s chest, or even the mother of the children of the man who pretended to be Kay’s (Jeanne Cooper) stepson. It’s because that’s what Victor wants to happen. You got that?
Poor, Brave, and Noble
Just so we’re clear, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is not to blame for sleeping with Adam (Mark Grossman). Their son is sick! What else was an anxious mother to do? Billy agrees. He blames Adam completely. This is why half of Chelsea’s work is already done, as she begs Adam for forgiveness.
But what about Adam? He isn’t thrilled that she blabbed. Or Sally (Courtney Hope). She’s not thrilled with Chelsea either. Did you all not hear? HER SON WAS SICK. How can Chelsea be held responsible for anything she did under the circumstances?
Wrong Turn
Chance (Conner Floyd) was a spy. Then he was a cop. Now he’s a businessman. What business? We have no idea. And neither does Chance. That’s a bigger problem. He’s really starting to second-guess his career choices. We’re trying to guess what he thought he was going to be doing in the first place.
