The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, July 18, reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will play hardball with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). When Adam explained his condition and refused to sling mud at Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Victor agreed a little too quickly!

It seemed more like Victor was telling Adam what he wanted to hear just so he could get his son on board.

Adam may see proof of that once Victor enters some tough negotiations with him.

Despite Adam’s best efforts to avoid hurting Jack and his family, Victor’s revenge plot may make that difficult.

As for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she’ll put up a fight on Thursday’s Y&R episode.

It sounds like Nikki will get some troubling updates on Victor’s agenda and warn that she won’t let him target Jack.

Nikki will have a bad feeling about Adam resuming his role at Newman Media since he’s played dirty in the past.

Victor could easily lead Adam down a sinister path again, so Nikki will have a feeling the Newmans are headed for catastrophe.

Nikki, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will all have concerns during their family discussion, but it’s clear that they can’t stop what Victor’s set in motion.

Meanwhile, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will agree with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) about needing to get Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) out of the picture.

Although Summer may not know how she’s going to pull it off yet, she’ll indeed want Audra as far away as possible.

Summer will feel like it’s the only way to make sure Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) stays protected.

However, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) plans on taking Harrison and Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) on his trip to Paris with Audra.

You can bet Summer will be livid when she realizes Kyle’s making that threat a reality.

Nick will eventually sound the alarm over Summer’s behavior, so he may worry about her going after primary custody.

Since Nick already warned Summer that she could lose big due to her lack of biological connection, he may feel she’s playing with fire.

Nick may also fret over whatever Summer has planned for Audra – and if Summer decides to book her own flight to Paris, Nick will undoubtedly grow concerned about that, too.

Phyllis, on the other hand, will apparently defend Summer for doing whatever it takes for Harrison’s sake.

Our Y&R predictions hint that Summer and Kyle’s custody feud will come with some shockers, so stay tuned for more news on how low they’ll sink.
