The makers are building up a big storyline for Sharon, tease the latest The Young and The Restless Spoilers.

Going by how the story is progressing, we have a feeling that the seeds for the upcoming upheaval have already been sowed.

We know that Sharon is experiencing some worsening of her bipolar symptoms due to her changed medication.

Even Nick recently noticed her “off” behavior. The spoilers reveal that in the upcoming episodes, she’ll feel more tremors due to the unsuitable medication. This means Sharon not being herself is not a one-off thing. Interestingly, the Y&R summer sweeps preview that whatever this “big Sharon storyline” is, it is going to pull Lucy Romalotti into the chaos.

Now, on the surface, it may appear as though Sharon and Lucy do not have any real connection. But that’s not really true. In fact, Sharon’s recent flashback served well in reminding all the long-time viewers of this connection! But, for the unversed, let us spell it out! Ions ago, Sharon lost her daughter Cassie in a car accident.

At the time, Sharon believed that Daniel Romalotti was drunk driving the car and caused the accident that claimed Cassie’s life. However, that wasn’t the truth. In reality, it was Cassie who was driving, while Daniel was actually passed out in the car. The Young and The Restless Spoilers recall that Sharon did eventually learn the truth, and even forgave Daniel.

But, hey! her Bipolar self may not remember that! If the altered medication does a number on her, she may go back to feeling convinced that Daniel caused her to lose her daughter! This could eventually put her on a path of vengeance, ultimately causing her to go after Daniel’s daughter Lucy!
