Summer and Kyle’s battle over Harrison’s custody is showing no signs of slowing down on The Young and The Restless.

In fact, in the upcoming episodes, viewers can expect to see a huge showdown between the two.

Kyle has begun to indicate that he has stopped seeing Summer as Harrison’s mother. We wonder if this shift in perspective is because Tara is coming back.

There have been quite a few instances of name-dropping. And we know name-dropping is often a foreshadowing of a past character’s return. Moreover, we feel Tara Locke has been in prison for far too long. No one stays in prison for that long for a white-collar crime like embezzlement.

Besides, at this point, she is the only one who can actually have a courtroom battle for Harrison’s custody with Kyle. As he told Summer, she is not Harrison’s biological mother, nor has she legally adopted him on The Young and The Restless. Thus, she doesn’t have any real claims to his custody. The best she would get is visitation.

However, Tara is his biological mother and has equal rights as a parent to Harrison. So not only can she diffuse Summer’s ego battle (as Kyle called it), but also give Kyle a tough fight in court. It would be really thrilling to watch what happens when Tara actually arrives in town.
