Sister Wives Robyn Breaks Silence About Broken Brown Family

Robyn Brown came into the Sister Wives family in 2010. Since then, she has undoubtedly become Kody Brown’s favorite wife. This was called out by his daughter, Aspyn Brown in earlier seasons. She saw how much more time he was spending with Robyn and her children than with the other wives and kids. Finally, when third wife, Christine Brown exited the family in 2021, she noted that Robyn was the favorite. Former second wife, Janelle Brown echoed the sentiment. Eventually, Kody shared that she was his favorite essentially as she was his soul mate and the only loyal wife he had.

The breakdown of the Brown family has supposedly crushed Robyn. She had big dreams for the wives that she reiterates all of the time. Once again, Robyn is opening up about the downfall of the family and her crushed hopes. According to People, in the Sunday, November 19th episode, Robyn shares what she had initially wanted when she became the fourth wife: “What I liked a lot about living plural marriage was the team effort, where I had sister wives.” More so, she noted she “really wanted that camaraderie” as well as a “sisterhood” with the three ladies.

The Sister Wives star wanted to have this big family where they all loved each other’s children. Additionally, Robyn Brown wanted to feel that sense of love from her sister wives. Despite all of the hurdles and downfalls, somehow she believes it could still happen and they can be a family. However, she does acknowledge that it would be “different.”

“I sure hope it’s possible, but I can’t have expectations. I can’t put expectations on people, I’m realizing more and more, as far as family and that connection and spending time together and stuff and operating kind of a family. So I hope and I pray that it’s possible, but that will be that a situation where everybody has to choose that. So I don’t know.”

Remaining Hopeful

In Sunday’s episode of Sister Wives, it seems that Kody’s first wife, Meri Brown, finally decides to pull the plug and leave. That means all of the other wives, aside from Robyn Brown, have distanced themselves. Despite the family unit being traditionally and fundamentally broken, Robyn still remains hopeful. She admits that she still longs for the porch dream she has spoken of. Apparently, she has seen sister wives from their church, growing old together and sitting on their porches. They are in rocking chairs and watching the grandkids playing. That dream has been ripped from Robyn and she is struggling with that immensely.
