Robyn Brown Accused Of Playing Victim Card In Sister Wives Family Drama

Some Sister Wives viewers are sick and tired of Robyn Brown playing the victim

when it comes to family drama she created,

which was shown in-depth throughout the most recent episode of the series.

Sister Wives season 18 episode 2 was a rough time for the Brown family, who were all feeling strain on the family as they celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday. Christine Brown, who left Kody Brown and their plural marriage in 2021, chose to spend Thanksgiving with her daughter away from the larger family, and Janelle Brown, whose relationship with her husband is in trouble, traveled to North Carolina to be with her kids for the holiday.

As Sister Wives viewers weighed in on the episode, it was clear that Robyn’s theatrics were feeling like a lot after grasping how she’d splintered the family in the past. When she cried over the fact that her children were being ostracized, many couldn’t take it anymore. As u/Ok_Froyo7933 explained on Reddit, “As a consequence of [your actions], those women’s children no longer want to associate with you and your children. Stop telling your children they are victims of their bio father and victims now of Christine and Janelle.”

Robyn’s tears shed about her children being alienated were laughable to most long-time Sister Wives viewers, especially after Christine explained she doesn’t think Robyn has ever actually been in a plural marriage with the way Kody has treated her. Another Reddit user, u/mcrop609, chimed in to share, “Robyn doesn’t understand how polygamy families work. Robyn capitalizes the S in Selfish.”

In another Reddit post, u/MayaPinions explained they don’t understand why Robyn gets to have any say on Kody’s other relationships, especially his previous marriage to Christine. “It’s unbelievable that Robyn doesn’t see the correlation between Kody neglecting Christine’s marriage to spend time with her,” they explained, while other Sister Wives fans chimed in with their opinions. u/elliottnumba1 explained, “It’s unbearable how she’s adopted such an emotional state from their divorce. She wants so badly to understand what happened, but GIRL, it’s not your marriage!” while u/whydoihavetodo_this put it plainly when they said, “She lacks introspection.”

What Robyn seems to grasp onto is the fact that she feels hurt and betrayed by her fellow Sister Wives, rather than the fact that she’s been a part of causing their hurt. Christine, Janelle, and Meri all realized their relationships with Kody have become infinitely more difficult over the years, especially with their children all mostly grown up. As he stays present with Robyn, it’s only fair that they felt betrayed. While it wasn’t always put on Robyn, Kody’s relationship with his wives became strained after he began courting Robyn. For her not to understand that she’s been the center of the drama since the start is blissful ignorance.

With Sister Wives season 18 just getting started, Robyn has already proved to be too much for some viewers. With her constant state of victimization and her ignorance surrounding the rest of the family’s emotional state, Robyn has alienated herself from the rest of the Browns. Though she believes this is something the rest of her family has done to her, it’s clear to many of her other family members and Sister Wives viewers alike have come to the conclusion that Robyn can be a problem all on her own.

Sister Wives season 18 airs Sundays at 10 p.m. EST on TLC.
