Nikki arrives at the Abbott house and urgently tells Jack she needed to see him. Jack invites her in, where Tracy is asleep on the couch and Diane is in a chair. Jack, noticing Nikki’s distress, asks if she’s been drinking. Nikki insists she isn’t drunk, though Jack observes she isn’t her usual self. Nikki counters that Jack doesn’t look great either and complains she’s been up all night, blaming herself for letting Jordan live. Jack recognizes Nikki’s struggle with the urge to drink and suggests they talk privately.
Diane and Tracy wake up, curious about the conversation. Jack reassures them there’s no new news. Tracy asks Nikki how she’s holding up, and Nikki admits she’s not doing well, asking Jack to talk on the terrace. Diane inquires about Kyle, and Jack says he’s resting. As they head to the terrace, Ashley comes downstairs. Tracy asks how she’s feeling, and Ashley says she’s shaky but managing.
On the terrace, Jack tells Nikki his earlier confrontation wasn’t an accusation but stresses the need for honesty. Nikki admits she drank because her strength evaporated upon realizing Jordan had Harrison. Jack appreciates her honesty and asks if she has hidden any vodka. Nikki says if she wants it, she’ll find it, describing how she ended up ordering drinks at an all-night bar before stopping herself to come to Jack’s place. Jack is relieved she came to him.
Nikki expresses self-loathing for her weakness, knowing alcohol worsens her anxiety, yet she continues to drink. Jack praises her for coming clean and encourages her to contact Victor, who will be worried. Nikki texts her husband and vows not to drink, despite the turmoil in her family. Jack emphasizes that staying sober is crucial for herself, not just for others. Nikki fears things will worsen, feeling guilty for letting Jordan live and arrogantly thinking she could lure her to the anniversary party. Jack insists Nikki didn’t cause Harrison’s kidnapping and assures her that he and Victor will resolve this.
Inside, Ashley tells Tracy she’s shaky but managing. Tracy reassures her, and Diane expresses concern for Ashley’s well-being. Ashley apologizes for her behavior the previous night, but Diane and Tracy reassure her she wasn’t herself. Ashley admits she remembers nothing and feels scared and confused, wanting to seek help today. Tracy tells her they’re waiting for a confirmation call for an appointment this morning. Kyle arrives, asking for updates, and Tracy lies, saying Harrison is sick and Summer took him to the doctor. Diane takes Kyle to the kitchen, assuring him their son will be okay.
At Crimson Lights, Summer fills in Nick and Phyllis about the kidnapping, expressing frustration that everyone at the Abbott house went to sleep despite the crisis. Nick asks about the current situation, and Summer explains they’re waiting for instructions from Claire. Phyllis, confused, asks who Jordan is and why she’s involved. Summer reveals she only recently found out, and Nick wonders why Claire would do this, given her happy demeanor at the party. Phyllis emphasizes that the only priority is Harrison’s safe return.
Back at the Tack House, Victoria is distressed, replaying her conversations with Claire in her head. Cole sympathizes, saying Jordan’s actions are torturous. Victoria wonders if they were wrong about Claire and if she could be behind Harrison’s kidnapping. They discuss their doubts, with Victoria recalling Claire’s initial claims of being their daughter and their subsequent skepticism. They agree they need to focus on the present crisis.
At the Abbott Mansion, Diane and Tracy learn Ashley has a confirmed appointment. Tracy plans to accompany her. Jack and Nikki return, and Ashley updates them on her upcoming appointment. Jack is supportive, and Nikki asks if everything is okay. Jack explains Ashley is dealing with emotional fallout from Tucker. Nikki decides to head to the office, finding work therapeutic, and Jack offers to drive her. They part ways, with Jack advising Nikki to call if she feels the urge to drink.
Kyle receives another text from Claire. At Crimson Lights, Summer is distraught over the possibility of Jordan and Claire torturing the Newmans. She vents to Nick and Phyllis, who assure her they will find Harrison. Phyllis urges Nick to take action against Jordan.
At the Abbott Mansion, Diane comforts Kyle, and Jack reassures everyone that they will handle the situation. At the ranch, Nikki confides in Lauren about her struggles, and Lauren offers to attend a meeting with her.
Back at the Tack House, Victoria and Cole grapple with their doubts about Claire. Jack and Kyle arrive at the ranch, updating Victor on Claire’s demands. They agree to Victor’s terms to ensure Harrison’s safety.
