Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers remind fans that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver)

and Nate (Sean Dominic) have been friends for a long while. As former colleagues and

scheming buddies, they’ve gotten to know each other well over the years,

but it looks like the two are about to become so much more.

Y&R spoilers for Wednesday, July 3 note that sparks will fly between Naudra, and as American viewers are headed toward Independence Day, it looks like there will be fireworks happening in Genoa City both inside and outside the GCAC.

The interesting thing about Nate and Audra is that they have both had crushes for each other at differing points in their friendship.

Ms. Charles had the hots for Mr. Hastings when they worked at Newman, and in many ways, she was the reason he broke up with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), even though Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was able to snatch him up first.

Then, more recently, it looks like Nate wanted more than friendship when Audra was involved with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).

He was fiercely protective of his friend’s heart and warned her multiple times about Tucker. Now that she’s suddenly single, it looks like these two will finally hit the sheets.

But, will they simply become friends with benefits, or could they turn into GC’s next power couple?

Y&R Spoilers – The Kyle Abbott Factor

Audra may have her defenses up when it comes to a “relationship” with Nate. After all, she tried that with Tucker and was constantly hurt as she felt like she played second fiddle in most of his life.

Audra may resist a traditional romance with Nate as she doesn’t want feelings to get in the way of “what they have”. It seems very likely that she’ll build up a wall between her and Nate, but will he work to break this down so the two can truly come together?

Then, there’s Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to consider. He and Audra once had a casual affair, but ended things, mainly because of her and Tucker’s scheme against Jabot.

Kyle was smitten, and the show seems to be teasing “something” between them now that they’ll be working together at Glissade. While Kyle is interested in Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), will Audra catch his eye again, and what would this mean for her and Nate?
