The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 19,
reveals that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will blast Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)
for keeping her in the dark on Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) mental health crisis.
After receiving a call from Ashley regarding her dissociative identity disorder and treatment in Paris, Abby will lash out over being the last to know.
Billy will point out that Ashley didn’t want any of them to spill the news to Abby – especially when they were still trying to figure out exactly what they were dealing with.
However, Abby will recall that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) tried to warn her and knew something was up with Ashley sooner than she did. It’ll leave Abby realizing she didn’t pay close enough attention to the warning signs.
Billy will also mention their attempt at an intervention for Ashley, so Abby will fume over Billy, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) not including her.
Once Billy urges Abby to focus on the fact that Ashley’s getting the help she needs, Abby will decide to fly to Paris so she can be close once she’s allowed to visit her mom.
At the GCAC, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will talk to Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James), Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and a Chancellor-Winters lawyer about Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) lawsuit.
Although Daniel won’t really stand a chance according to their attorney, Lily will decide to compromise with him and just surrender Princess Luisa since she wants all this to be over.
At Crimson Lights, Daniel will realize there are too many negative associations with the game now, so he’ll tell Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) that he’s just going to let Lily keep it and call the lawsuit off.
In the park, Daniel will meet up with Lily, so they’ll trade info and realize neither one of them really wants the game anymore.
Lily will ultimately suggest keeping it as a library game – an instant classic that’ll never have any sequels or added material.
Lily will also pitch the idea of Chancellor-Winters creating a college scholarship trust fund for Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant), so Daniel will think all this sounds more than fair.
While Lily and Daniel officially put their feud to rest, Devon will give Nate updates on Billy’s proposal before Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) transferred all her power to him.
Nate will find out about Billy wanting to run Chancellor-Winters alongside Lily and shove Devon into a secondary role.
When Nate asks if Devon’s worried about Lily’s family betrayal, Devon will deny it.
That said, Devon will think Billy is the reason Lily’s been distracted lately.
There’ll also be some talk about Devon’s plan with Lily, which involved duping Billy into splitting up the companies – though he’ll admit that plan has stalled.
After Devon heads to Chancellor-Winters on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Abby will show up with news about Ashley.
When Abby reveals that she wants to fly to Paris and be there for her mother, Devon will insist he can go with her right now.
Back with Nate, he’ll greet Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) as she returns from her Paris trip looking pleased with herself.
Audra will admit she finally defeated Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and is now the CEO of Glissade.
Nate will quiz Audra about the anonymous investor who helped her, but she’ll stay tight-lipped about that as she ropes him into a celebratory meal.
At the tack house, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will be nervous about meeting Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) in person since it’ll be different than the video calls they’ve been on together.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will reassure Claire and praise the small gifts she’s selected: a red earbud case since that’s Johnny’s favorite color and a soccer ball charm for Katie’s bracelet.
While Claire’s upstairs wrapping the presents, Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will stop by.
Victoria will confess to being uncertain of how these sibling introductions will go, but Cole will offer a pep talk and calm her down.
Once Cole takes off, Billy will bring Johnny and Katie from the airport, so Victoria will introduce Claire as their sister.
Johnny will immediately start asking awkward questions about Claire’s mental hospital stay and what it was like growing up with crazy Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk).
Claire will assure Billy and Victoria that it’s all right since she’ll want to be honest about everything.
As Claire talks about getting the help she needed in the psych ward, she’ll reflect on finally being free of Jordan and dealing with her abnormal childhood.
Johnny will end up joking around with Claire a little, but Katie will give their new sister the cold shoulder.
Katie will just want to go up to her room, but she’ll seem annoyed to learn she’s living in Aria Porter-Copeland’s (Maddie and Millie Ingle) redecorated nursery.
After Katie fumes over their house burning down because of Claire’s crazy aunt, Victoria will point out that wasn’t Claire’s fault.
Claire will know it must seem that way and will acknowledge that Katie must be feeling sad.
Katie will fly into a rage and act like Claire can’t know what she’s feeling since she doesn’t even know her.
Once Katie stomps upstairs, Claire will suggest it’s best not to push and just give her some time.
As Billy’s on his way out, he’ll get Lily’s text asking if they can meet since it’s important.
