Let’s just say that if there’s anything that we’ve learned about The Young and the Restless star Eric Braeden, it’s that he’s the kind of guy who is going to say what he wants, when he wants, at any given time.

And that’s exactly what he did when he took to his X account to proclaim his support for Vice President Kamala Harris, should she replace Joe Biden as the new nominee for the Democratic party for this year’s race for the White House.

And when Eric says something, you can also believe that it stirs up so much emotion online that his statements become a story in itself. But we always knew that about him, right?

Eric, who always likes to speak his mind on social media, wrote, “Let me be clear: I AM IN FULL SUPPORT OF KAMALA HARRIS, should she run for the highest job in the country!”

He continued, “That woman KNOWS what is at stake, she KNOWS how to debate as a former prosecutor, she knows the ins and outs of BIDEN’S POLICIES and accomplishments! So, YES to KAMALA HARRIS!!”

Of course, it didn’t take long at all for many of his fans and his followers to weigh in on the matter.

Some of them even wrote, “Rich white males do not get to change the candidate after people have voted in a legally conducted primary. That is called voter suppression and that’s what the GOP is about.”

Another critic wrote, “I knew there was connection. U r a very wiseman on TV & in real life! Kamala 2025 all the way! We need Hope 4 the future & a woman President to lead us!”

But when one fan wrote, “People have been showing your previous posts that show deep disdain for our VP. Has your view changed?”

Eric replied with, “I have never had disdain for her!! I have, however, developed a greater respect for her over the years! Who I think is a lightweight is NEWSOME! His debate with de Santis was pitiful!!”
