The Young and the Restless spoilers show that the show is getting ready to completely derail Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) relationship for absolutely no reason. After the last few years of trying to get them together and be happy, they’re ready to rip it away once again completely.

Adam is away with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) right now for their son’s mental wellbeing, however, while together in a hotel they let their emotions get the best of them and we find them in bed together. Why? No reason.

Then, to make matters worse, Sally and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) are preparing to surprise them and show up at the hotel. Surely, this is not going to end well.

Viewers are not thrilled about this, to say the least, and they let their frustrations out on social media.

On an Instagram post from the official ‘The Young and the Restless’ account, fans wrote, “Hate this storyline button→”, “Y’all made Adam beg Sally to take him back and how much he loves her, and then you do this? And with Chelsea?? I hate this storyline.”, and “Why? Why? Why are you writers doing this?

You had Adam work so hard. They went through heartbreak for both Adam and Sally and they are not even back together for a few months and you are doing the famous bed-hopping scenes. What is wrong with you guys?”

That was just some of the outrage from viewers and we completely understand their anger. This doesn’t make any sense, Adam falling into bed with Chelsea is lazy writing, and they’ve once again ruined his relationship with Sally for no reason. We wish we could make it make sense for everyone, but honestly, we’re as perplexed as anyone else.
