Y&R spoilers reveal that Victor has a master plan, involving his son Adam Newman. Victor has been trying to persuade Adam to give up his co-CEO position at Newman Enterprises to take over Newman Media. This reshuffle would place Victoria Newman at the helm of the company, hoping Nikki Newman would step down temporarily.

Victor needs someone who shares his dark cunning to execute his plan against Jack. He’s banking on Adam to use Newman Media to expose Jack and Jabot. However, convincing Adam is no easy task. Adam initially rejected the idea, primarily because Victor wouldn’t disclose his target and also due to his ongoing issues with his son, Connor. Additionally, Adam recently had a one-night stand with Chelsea Lawson, leaving him wracked with guilt.

For the week of July 8-12, spoilers indicate that Victor will assign Adam a new task. Will he finally convince Adam to take the helm at Newman Media? Adam might figure out or guess that Victor’s target is Jack, especially with the news about Gade and Kyle coming to light. Adam, who considers Jack a friend, might be reluctant to betray him. Plus, with Sally Spectra now working for Marchetti, which falls under the Jabot umbrella, Adam wouldn’t want to jeopardize her career.

Adam’s guilt over his night with Chelsea might drive him to do something right. If he turns to Jack and reveals Victor’s plan, Jack might offer him a co-CEO position at Jabot. Diane Abbott needs guidance in her power role, and this move would not only be a strike against Kyle but also a blow to Victor by taking his son.
