The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Abby Newman Abbott and Devon Hamilton Winters are engaged. Abby initially chose not to marry until Ashley Abbott could attend. Ashley, on the other hand, may encourage Abby to marry. If Abby and Devon go ahead, Ashley may surprise her daughter by attending the wedding. It would definitely make Abby’s big day great.
Ashley Abbott’s medical treatment, according to Y&R spoilers, is a significant subplot. Abby was fully unaware of her mother’s mental health issues, and even though everything was explained to Abby, it shouldn’t have happened. Moving forward, Ashley is still receiving treatment in Paris for Dissociative Identity Disorder. Ashley has been in treatment for several months. In fact, this is how Tracy Abbott and Alan Laurent became close. What happens to Ashley now that Tracy and Alan are permanently relocating to Genoa City? Ashley will most likely continue to receive therapy in Paris. Alan will presumably continue to provide information to the Abbott family once they arrive alone. Eventually, Ashley will be released.
In the meantime, Devon Hamilton Abbott’s proposal to Abby has stirred some reservations in her. Devon proposed marriage, and Abby accepted. However, during a video conference with Ashley, Abby admitted to having doubts. Ashley managed to soothe her daughter, but it was noteworthy how Ashley declined Abby’s request for another visit. Ashley claimed she had a lot of work to do, but there seemed to be something lurking beneath the surface.
According to The Young and The Restless spoilers, after accepting Devon’s proposal, Abby made an important decision. Abby informed Devon that she couldn’t marry until her mother was able to attend. Of course, Devon was completely understanding. Devon understands how important family is, particularly to Abby. What happens if Ashley’s treatment is long-term? What if Ashley’s release could take months or perhaps years? This may encourage Ashley to tell Abby to marry anyhow. Ashley would not want her kid to postpone her happiness.
The burning question for fans is whether Eileen Davidson will return for the wedding. Abby might hesitate to agree to marry without her mother there. It would be bittersweet. However, what happens if Abby receives the surprise of a lifetime? What if someone interrupts Devon and Abby’s wedding? What if that person is Ashley? It would be unexpected but in a positive manner—just what soap lovers need right now. Every soap needs drama, but touching and lovely moments should not be overlooked.

Cameron appears more frequently and is more outspoken regarding Sharon’s decisions. Sharon has kept her hallucinations to herself, which is probably a big mistake. Cameron will now push Sharon to embrace her darker side, so it appears that Cameron might pressure Sharon to penalize either Lucy Romalotti or Daniel Romalotti Jr.
It is suggested that Daniel and Heather Stevens give Lucy some tough love. This could extend throughout the week of September 2. While everyone seems to blame Lucy for the tragedy, Faith’s guilt appears to be greater than it should be. Could Faith be hiding anything from everyone, even her parents?
Phyllis Summers’ redemption could also be a key plotline. According to The Young and The Restless spoilers for the week of September 2, Phyllis recently talked about all of her faults, particularly those involving her children. Nick reminded her she has done a lot of good, but it appears Phyllis needs something to remind her of this. Nick will open up to Phyllis about Sharon. Will Phyllis be a part of Sharon’s story? Will Phyllis save Sharon before something awful occurs?
During the week of September 2, viewers can anticipate that Victor Newman will strive to get his way. Kyle Abbott declined to fire Claire Grace Newman. However, I predict Victor will side with Summer Newman. If Summer fires Claire, she and Kyle may be able to team up and beat Victor at his own game. It would be awesome to see Kyle, Summer, and Claire all working together to preserve the Abbott family legacy.

What will Sharon be encouraged to do by Cameron’s delusion, and might anything dreadful happen as a result of this?
Finally, Y&R spoilers suggest that Nikki Newman will provide Lily Winters with a history lesson. Will there be flashbacks during this trip down memory lane? These women are getting extremely close, and Neil Winters was a good friend of Nikki. After Lily was fired from Chancellor Industries, will Nikki take her under her wing?

With Sharon and Nick experiencing déjà vu, Cameron will appear again. Cameron will push Sharon into the dark side. What awful sin will Sharon perform in the name of justice?
